Michael has over 25 years experience in military and civilian security, risk and emergency services consultancy, management and operations. Michael is a security and emergency services professional with deep expertise in security and emergency management analysis, planning, and coordination of strategic, operational and tactical exercises and projects. Michael has advised or worked in programs on a national, regional and international basis. Michael has won and led multiple crisis and security/ risk management projects in the Australian marketplace across multiple industries. Of key note, Michael has, throughout 2008 to present, won and led multiple Water Utilities projects, with recognition for shaping multi-agency response processes to plan, advising and testing Australia’s inaugural “Community Protection Act Compliance Exercise” (CPACE) across the Victorian Water Market, which has been key to set ongoing standards for Counter Terrorism simulations and audits across the state of Victoria.
Liz has 24 years business experience, 15 years at Director, Executive, Lead consultant level working with many global, national, blue chip, government and services companies. Prior to returning back to LACCAL Consulting as the Principal Director for Business Strategy and Sustainability, Liz was a CEO of a national CRM outsourcing business, and a Associate Partner /Director level management consultant with IBM for 3 years and Accenture for 5 years, consulting and shaping new Business Models, Alliances, and Transformation , Sustainability and Disaster Recovery programs. Liz has consulted and advised to government, large, medium and small enterprise sector clients post major disasters – eg accredited Business Recovery advisor to Qld Govt immediately post Cyclone Larry in Innisfail for 15 months. Liz advised to 25 business’ and the 2 Local Government Authorities on sustainability and recovery planning. Liz has been the Business Transformation Change lead on multiple projects, including AMP Ltd, ANZ Bank, Bank Of Queensland, Boral Group, CSIRO, Dept Health & Ageing, Ergon Energy (including their telco infrastructure play), ENERGEX, Energy Australia, Environment Australia, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, the NAB, North Mining, NSW Health, Otis Elevators, Pacific Dunlop Ltd, Philip Morris, Suncorp Metway Ltd, Tabcorp, Telstra, TRUenergy, and various State and regional Water entities.
Adam has significant international experience in risk management, operational planning, compliance auditing and team leadership. He has demonstrable expertise in providing strategic business resilience, operational and compliance risk solutions gained from servicing a client base that includes some of the world’s leading companies in banking and finance, resources and manufacturing, governments and public institutions. Adam has an extensive working knowledge of the Australian Standards for Risk Management (AS/NZS 4360) and Business Continuity Management (HB 221), and the Prudential Standard for Business Continuity Management (APS 232). He has applied such methods on assignments throughout the UK, Middle East, S-SE Asia, SW Pacific, southern Africa and Australia.
